Moncton, New Brunswick business PropertyGuys.com, has signalled its move into international franchising with the sale of a master franchise for the state of Florida. The buyers are led by Patrick Belanger. PropertyGuys.com is aiming to expand its presence in the state to 200 franchises.
CEO Ken LeBlanc said, “We’re really excited that the model … works pretty much anywhere traditional real estate services are being offered, which is in almost every single country in the world. It means we have unlimited potential to keep growing this business.”
“The U.S. is very exciting just on the mass size and the opportunity there to take PropertyGuys to another level. It’s going to be the first of what we believe will be a lot [of business] in the U.S.,” he said. “We have potentially about 25 master franchises that we’re going to be selling.”
