Pokeworks announces extensive national expansion plans 

The premium fast-casual poke brand plans to open in California, New York and Texas over the next three years

Pokeworks has announced the execution of three multi-unit franchise agreements, resulting in 10 total locations in Orange County, California; Queens, New York City; as well as Arlington and Fort Worth, Texas. The brand plans to have all ten locations open in the next three years. 

“We’re thrilled to bring our freshest, premium products from sustainable sources to more people across the country,” said Steeve Heeley, CEO of Pokeworks. 

“It is amazing to see our brand grow from coast to coast, and we can’t wait to get to work with these outstanding new franchisees. We look forward to the continued growth of our brand and spreading our love of poke!” 

The new franchise agreement feature three first-time franchisees with Pokeworks. Andrew Yoo is a multi-unit franchisee with Paris Baguette, BBQ Chicken and Zipbap Korean Kitchen, and will bring four locations to Orange County, California. John Tseng, a former Sakura Japanese franchisee, has signed on to bring three units to Queens, New York. In Texas, Marcos Blanco has teamed up with his cousin, Denis Blanco, to develop three locations in Arlington and Fort Worth.
