Jet’s Pizza opens milestone 400th location

The national pizza franchise brand celebrated its 400th opening in Chicago

Jet’s Pizza has announced the opening of its 400th unit in the brand’s history. The milestone pizzeria is located in the neighborhood of Jefferson Park in Chicago, Illinois. This location is owned by Bryan Gilbert and Dan O’Donohue.

Last week, the brand president and CEO of Jet’s America, John Jetts, visited the milestone location with his vice president of store operations, Jeff Galloway, and vice president of franchise sales, Jim Galloway to celebrate its opening. With their corporate owners, the franchisees gave away free slices and customers could spin a wheel to win free Jet’s Pizza merchandise.

The pizza brand had announced earlier in the year its intentions to open 30 new locations in 2022. The Detroit-style pizza chain is planning to open in Utah, Kansas, New Mexico, Washington and Nevada.

“It’s incredible to think we just opened our 400th location when it feels like just yesterday, I was sitting on milk crates with my brother Eugene outside our first location, dreaming of this,” said Jetts.

“We’re so proud of the product we put out there and the family of franchisees we’ve formed who have all made this dream possible.”

Jet’s Pizza was founded in 1978 in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Brothers John and Eugene Jetts founded the brand as Jetts Party Shoppe and Pizzeria, and has now grown to 400 stores in 19 states across the U.S.
