Shipley Do-Nuts signed agreements to enter two new states in Q1

The growing donut brand broke into new territories during Q1 of 2022

Shipley Do-Nuts, the fresh donut and kolaches brand, has announced a strong Q1. The brand signed a number of multi-unit franchise agreements at the start of the year that will amount to 70 locations across Texas, Georgia and Maryland. The brand also tested a new coffee program, launched its first professional branding campaign, and the first of its 40 planned new units for 2022. Shipley also opened in Tallahassee, Florida, for the first time.

“We are continuing our record-breaking growth, and in Q1, we’ve worked to put teams, systems and programs in place to support our fast-paced growth,” said Clifton Rutledge, CEO of Shipley Do-Nuts.

“The steps we’ve taken have enabled us to attract highly qualified multi-unit operators who see the brand’s incredible potential and want to be on board as we step into our next 85 years.”

The brand is expected to double in size over the next five years with over 350 sites in the developmental pipeline.
