Junk King bolsters the brand’s back-end with new director of IT

Junk King, the white collar junk removal and hauling franchise brand, has announced further developments to its corporate team with the hiring of Anthony De Angelis as the new director of IT.

This news comes shortly after Darlene Viering was positioned as vice president of franchise development, and Junk King launched a new franchise website to accelerate growth efforts.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the corporate team at such a momentous time for the brand – they just reached the one million job milestone and recently added other new team members to the home office. I think this energy will make the role something truly special to be a part of,” said De Angelis.

Prior to joining the Junk King corporate team, De Angelis was the chief information officer for the National American University for nearly five years. Beyond this, he has more than 35 years of experience in the IT industry, with several positions at C-suite or director levels.

“Anthony is just the right person for this role – with his IT experience and leadership positions he has held, we have no doubt he’ll be a perfect fit,” said Michael Andreacchi, CEO of Junk King. “We are excited to see what he’ll accomplish in these next few months and beyond!”

After launching its franchise opportunity in 2009, U.S.-based Junk King now has more than 100 locations, including two master licenses in Canada.
