Richard Davies, QFP, advertising director of DC Thomson Media, publisher of Global Franchise magazine, has joined the Titus Center for Franchising advisory board at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The advisory board now includes 66 franchise executives representing 52 companies. Since 2017, when the Titus Center opened, the advisory board has been instrumental in advancing the center’s mission, which is to engage, educate and inspire current and future franchise leaders.
Dr. John P. Mr. Davies becomes our first international member and he’s well known in the world franchise community.”
Mr. Davies is a 27-year franchise veteran and a past affiliate chair of the British Franchise Association where he has served on various committees. He is currently a member of the International Franchise Association’s international committee. He also has served as a judge for numerous franchise awards.
Upon his appointment to the board, Davies said, “I’m passionate about promoting ethical franchising and standards, and I’m a huge advocate for education and spreading the word about franchising as a great industry. I look forward to supporting the PBA Titus Center and helping to educate the next generation of franchise executives worldwide.”
Titus Center Advisory Board membership is open to franchise executives and companies that want to support franchise education. The board meets twice annually on the PBA campus.
