King is a 25-year veteran of the pizza industry and will help to streamline Marco’s in-store operations.
Coming from a finance, operations and development background specific to the pizza industry, King will utilize his knowledge and expertise to streamline Marco’s in-store processes and help deliver a five-star guest experience. Alongside his people-first mentality, King brings two decades of experience as a senior leader, specializing in analytics, finance and practical operations.
King spent much of his career at Domino’s Pizza, working his way to vice president of franchise operations after starting as an accountant/assistant controller 25 years prior. At the time of his departure, King was directing the operations of over 6,000 stores across the U.S. He later joined Donato’s Pizza as its CEO and managed company-wide operations, business development and innovation practices.
“I am looking forward to applying my operations knowledge and leadership experience in this new role, placing added value on company culture to influence performance,” said King.
“Marco’s is on track to becoming the fourth-largest pizza brand in the country and I am eager to utilize my category experience to accelerate company-wide success in achieving that goal.”
King reports to executive vice president and chief of operations, Tim Brown. King is responsible for franchise operations and development initiatives for non-area Representative areas and serves as a member of Marco’s executive team.

“I am confident that he is the right person for this role and will be a strong asset in attaining our short and long-term goals as we continue to scale nationwide.”
Executive VP and chief of operations, Tim Brown, was appointed to his role in January 2021.
