Masterminded by leaders in the Australian franchise space, the Launch Your Franchise contest will help Australian businesses to expand their network through franchising.
Created by the Global Franchise Award-winning DCS Franchise Group (also known as DC Strategy), the free-to-enter competition allows aspiring entrepreneurs to submit their entry online or nominate deserving businesses to win the consulting, legal and franchise marketing work necessary to develop their business model as a full business format franchise system.
The top prize – valued at AUS$150,000 – includes a Comprehensive Franchise Development Program offered by the DCS Franchise Group, six months of franchise marketing and advertising opportunities sponsored by Seek Business, and lead generation and ongoing marketing and financing opportunities courtesy of Hubspot, Redcat, DC Strategy Lawyers, Benjamin & Benjamin, The Franchising Expo, Compass Fitouts and more.
Runners up will win a comprehensive feasibility program offered by the competition founders, who have helped to develop franchise systems for the likes of Boost Juice, Ben & Jerry’s and more.
The inaugural Launch Your Franchise judging panel will be chaired by DC Strategy’s Rod Young and includes Amber Manning (general manager – Just Cuts Franchising), William Edwards (chief executive officer and global advisor to chief executives – EGS), Sarah Stowe (editor – Inside Franchise Business), Matt Fickling (chief commercial officer – Motto Motto Japanese), John O’Brien (chief executive officer and founder – Poolwerx) and Brendan Green (CEO – Franchise Cloud Solutions and Hire A Hubby; chairman – Franchise Council of Australia).
