Stagecoach Performing Arts is laying the groundwork for expansion in 2022

The children’s services franchisor is seeking to accelerate growth with new schools opening around the world

The children’s services franchisor is seeking to accelerate growth with new schools opening around the world.

Stagecoach Performing Arts has been operating in the U.K. for for 33 years, and has offered its franchising system for 22 in international markets. The brand is now investing more resources to create more engaging educational content and bespoke plans.

“Our long-term goal has always been to replicate our standing in the U.K. in key markets around the world, including Australia, Asia and the U.S.,” said Andy Knights, CEO.

“To put this into action, we’ve invested in updates to our operational systems to ensure productivity across the board. With a strong presence in Canada and operational schools in the three target regions, our strategy for mass expansion will see us working with master franchise investors to rapidly increase our market share.

“We’re on the hunt for savvy entrepreneurs with a passion for nurturing children with a love of performing arts.”

Stagecoach has over 50,000 students attending 2,000 classes, being operated by 300 franchisees in eight countries. The demand for such classes continues to rise as acting and drama teaching in mainstream education leaves parents wanting more.

“What we’re seeing more and more, both in the U.K. and on an international scale, is that parents are more than happy to invest their earnings in activities for their children which offer personal development as well as being fun,” continued Andy.

“Our presence around the globe is increasing, with more families thinking of us as the go-to performing arts provider. This is having an incredible impact on student numbers, allowing our franchisees to really capitalise on this growth.”

Schools are being planned for Hamburg, Germany and Westmount, Canada, as well as an opening today in Perth, Australia. The brand has plans to strengthen its offering in these regions but is also focussing on bringing its services to Asia.

“It’s an exciting time for us, in terms of growth on a worldwide scale,” added Andy.

“We’re delighted to see such a variety of talented and dedicated prospects enquiring about our opportunity. Many of our new franchisees have either worked in performing arts or have been performers themselves, but experience in the performance sector isn’t necessary.

“As long as these prospects are passionate about improving the lives of children and have the desire to develop a successful business of their own, they’ll enjoy the work and rewards of being a Stagecoach franchisee.”
