Helen Doron Educational Group is setting industry standards with its push for empathy, support, and respect
It’s not just any franchise that can claim it offers exceptional mentoring and guidance to its franchisees. But that’s exactly what Helen Doron Educational Group, the leading international education franchisor with more than 1,000 learning centers in 38 countries, proved as it took home the Global Mentorship Award from the Global Franchise Awards 2020.
The group includes a selection of franchise concepts – such as Helen Doron English, Helen Doron Kindergarten, and MathRiders – that offer unbeatable returns and fulfillment to development-driven entrepreneurs looking to make a difference.
Global Franchise got the opportunity to speak with the esteemed Helen Doron about what winning this award means to her, and why the Helen Doron name is associated with premium teaching methods.
GF: Which qualities earned Helen Doron Educational Group the Global Mentorship Award 2020?
HD: This acknowledgment is particularly meaningful to myself and our franchise community. Last year we were recognized internationally as the Best Children’s Educational Franchise and now we are acknowledged for our excellence in mentoring. The mentoring relates to our excellent business training and conferences for our franchisees as well as our teacher training that is ongoing.
Our franchisees feel that they are part of a global family and treat each other with empathy, support, and respect. Based on my own convictions, everyone in our network is empowered to realize their own potential. Raising children to be holistic, contributing world citizens is our passion, and we work together to achieve our collective goals.
GF: What is the secret of successful international franchising?
HD: An excellent product, the right franchisees, and support. We offer a time-proven business model and unprecedented support on all levels.
Our franchisees own and run their businesses, but know they are an integral part of an international network and members of a dynamic community. Our business model allows them to develop their own style, backed by an efficient and effective support system.
GF: What sets Helen Doron Educational Group apart from other franchise brands on the market?
HD: We have a few brands, as our goal is to provide the best possible education for babies and children from an informational, skills, and emotional point of view. Our leading franchise, Helen Doron English, is unique in its special methodology for teaching English. No one else offers our scope and range of materials for such a broad age range of students. Everyone in the world needs English to communicate, and we make learning it natural, easy, and fun. Nearly three million children have learned English with the Helen Doron methodology and some of our franchisees have been with us for 20 years and more, as they’ve found an ideal career path.
GF: What’s next for the brand?
HD: My vision includes continuing to penetrate and advance new markets, developing new learning programs, and building upon our ongoing successes with all of the Group’s brands. We have lots of plans. Stay tuned!
