Is craft beer and artisanal pizza a sure-fired recipe for success? A lot of fast casuals think so. Milano Restaurants International-owned Blast & Brew has signed a franchise agreement which will see the quick-fired, custom pizza concern taking a slice of the action in Phoenix, Arizona. The agreement is for at least three Blast & Brew locations to be opened in the region over the next three years.
Entrepreneurs Parish and Sunil Patel will be the new owners. Parish Patel said, “We were immediately attracted to the Blast & Brew concept after learning about the business model. What sealed the deal for us, though, was that first bite of pizza—it is evident that the company has spent over 50 years perfecting its recipes. With Phoenix’s promising economic climate and lively, bustling streets, we truly believe that Blast & Brew’s second-to-none dining experience will be a perfect fit.”
