The premier international franchising expo comes to New York on 24-25 September.
The International Franchise Association’s International Franchise Expo is set for 24-25 September at The Javits Center on 11th Avenue.
The two-day expo will cover a wide range of events designed to help people start on the path of franchising and business ownership, with a wide range of sessions and intensive workshops. Attendees will be allowed to ask questions, get involved in discussions, respond to polls and much more during the two-day period.
Featuring a range of brands from Checkers to Mr. Jeff, there are a great variety of franchises exhibiting at the two-day event, as well as a list of accomplished speakers including the likes of Kay Ainsley, the managing director of MSA Worldwide and Professor John Hayes, director for the Titus Center of Franchising, Palm Beach Atlantic University.
An attendee from the previous year, Ron MacInnes had this to say:
“We’re currently owners of two restaurants and we’re looking for other opportunities. I think it’s a good opportunity to come and learn and explore and see what’s out there.
“There are quite a few questions you get answered by talking to these people directly at the booth as far as original investment fee and what the size the store requirements are. So, it’s good to get that information before you really try to figure out what you want to do.”
International travelers to the expo can enjoy discounts on their flights and accommodation. Details can be found on this link.
