Premier Martial Arts acquired by Unleashed Brands

The family entertainment franchisor has added Premier Martial Arts to its brand offering

Unleashed Brands, a family entertainment franchisor, has announced the acquisition of Premier Martial Arts, a franchise brand that teaches martial arts such as kickboxing, karate and krav maga to both children and adults. The details of the transaction were not disclosed. 

“The acquisition of Premier Martial Arts positions Unleashed Brands for further success with the focus on providing fun, engaging and inspiring experiences that help kids become who they are destined to be. The addition of Premier Martial Arts aligns perfectly with the company’s goal to create a global growth-focused platform that will serve to curate and expand the portfolio of brands that provides a safe, fun and enriching environment to help kids learn, play and grow,” said Michael Browning, president and CEO of Unleashed Brands. 

Barry Van Over founded the brand in 2004 and grew it to over 70 locations across the U.S., U.K., and Canada. The brand began franchising in 2018 and has managed to sell 564 franchises to 228 owners. Premier Martial Arts focus on giving children self-esteem, confidence and physical wellbeing to help them succeed in life.

Unleashed Brands will act as the parent company for Premier Martial Arts, as it does for its other brands such as Snapology and Little Gym
