Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group continues to add new locations in India

India will get four new Jamie Oliver’s Pizzeria branches this year

India will get four new Jamie Oliver’s Pizzeria branches this year.

Alongside its partner, Dolomite, The Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group plans to open four new branches of Jamie Oliver’s Pizzeria in India before 2022.

The brand first launched in India in 2015 with partner Dolomite, which manages 11 Jamie Oliver restaurants in the country. It manages two Jamie’s Italian restaurants in Delhi and many more Jamie Oliver’s Pizzeria locations in Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai.

The four new branches are slated to open in Hyderabad, Chandigarh and the first location of the four to open in the Viviana Mall in Thane this week, just outside of Mumbai. This will bring the number of outlets from the Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group to 15 before the end of the year.

Jamie’s Pizzeria produces a variety of pizzas, from the typically slow-proved dough for Neopolitan pizza to creating non-traditional pizzas with local ingredients such as paneer.

“Our incredible pizzas and versatile menu offers something for everyone, and we are delighted that diners across India have responded so brilliantly,” said Ed Lofus, restaurant group director for the Jamie Oliver Group.

“Dolomite is a fantastic partner and India continues to be a key growth market for us, with plans for further openings next year and beyond already well under way.”

This isn’t the Jamie Oliver Group’s first foray into foreign markets; in 2019 it set up two new locations on the site of previously failed restaurants in Thailand.
