Innovative personal trainer app concept launches franchising opportunities

Send Me A Trainer, a first-of-its-kind, on-demand fitness app brand, wants to bring its unique spin on personal training to the masses.

Send Me A Trainer, a first-of-its-kind, on-demand fitness app brand, wants to bring its unique spin on personal training to the masses.

The app, launched in 2018, received a warm reception and has been on the up ever since. Bary and Mihssin El-Yacoubi, Send Me A Trainer founders, were soon requested to make their business available through franchising; due in part to its quick and cheap startup, flexible business model, and the option to work entirely from home. In fact, Send Me A Trainer franchisees don’t require a physical location to run their business from, nor any expensive equipment or costly construction.

“Traditionally, an on-demand business is owned and managed centrally by a single company and not available as a franchise model to others,” says Bary. “We have never seen a franchise opportunity like this, and are redefining the way people think about franchising.”

Send Me A Trainer works by pairing users with their ideal personal trainer, to complete their preferred workout. Users can download the app and begin working with a trainer that same day, and the convenience of refining a workout, coupled with the on-going support for the competitive profession of personal training, makes the experience a mutually beneficial one.

To be an eligible franchisee, aspiring applicants must demonstrate a track record of strong leadership skills, and be able to cover the franchise fee of $34,999. Estimated startup costs vary from $49,599-$85,299, though this depends on territory and the size of the intended market.

“Send Me A Trainer is at the intersection of three booming sectors: fitness, convenience, and technology,” says Muhssin. “When you look at the latest consumer trends, it’s clear that now more than ever before, consumers are health-conscious, expect convenience, and are technology driven.”

Send Me A Trainer plans to have a presence at all major franchise and fitness events throughout 2019/2020, and wants to speak with franchising professionals who can bring the on-demand personal trainer app to a new, engaged market.
