Hot off the heels of announcing the Finnish Franchising Association and Romanian Franchise Association joining the World Franchise Network, the network has grown its member base by adding the Indian Small Business & Franchise Association (ISFA).
The World Franchise Network was formed in 2020 with the mission to gather franchise associations and trade bodies all under one roof, in order to encourage and foster greater connectivity between franchising nations. By adding the ISFA to the network, Global Franchise can work more closely with a recognized and well-respected voice of Indian franchising, strengthening its coverage of the franchise model in the vibrant country.
Speaking about the partnership, Kieran McLoone, Editor of Global Franchise, said: “India is a hugely exciting, vibrant franchise region that we’ve covered extensively in our magazine and on the Global Franchise Podcast. This partnership with the Indian Small Business & Franchise Association is a perfect addition to the World Franchise Network, and we look forward to working closely with Gaurav Marya to spread the good word of franchising in India.”
The ISFA was founded in 2008 and boasts 30,000 members. ISFA connects brands to business partners and helps entrepreneurs unlock their growth potential. Its motto is to make investment easy and transparent. ISFA assists people in taking their business concepts from the development stage to marketable products with marketing tools that streamline this process at a fraction of the cost.
ISFA, India’s premier franchise association, is dedicated to the awareness, education, and growth of franchising. The mission of ISFA is to promote and enhance the success of its members by providing them with business solutions and opportunities to connect, enabling them to achieve their professional goals.
With Franchise Consult and Franchise Mate, ISFA aims to provide members with a complete franchise package for building a successful franchise business model. This includes everything, from marketing to consumption or distribution of service or product and also selling your franchise – the organization will provide guidance in all aspects.
Under Franchise Exim, ISFA has taken one of the boldest initiatives to introduce franchise partners to the Indian market, as well as matching with international brands for a win-win relationship. IFSA works to find the proper ‘match’ for brand owners and also supports them.
IFSA provides a platform for franchisees to gain access to front-line support systems by partnering with successful, well-established brands across industry verticals, providing an instant entry route into faster growth. ISFA also creates a forum for the franchisees on consensus-building and networking.
Partnership with counterpart chambers across the world carries forward the initiatives of inclusive development in SMBs, which encompasses entrepreneurship, training, governance, and skill development. ISFA also provides funding opportunities for high-potential SMEs. The ISFA platform gives opportunities for Indian businesses to connect with overseas partners and expand Indian businesses.
Gaurav Marya, founder and chairman of ISFA, said: “ISFA has been a premier voice of the industry in India and would continue to work towards the betterment of the industry at all levels. As we uphold the responsibility towards the industry, we continue to mandate in addressing government policies and legislations, guidance, and support, and help the industry get familiar with newer and advanced technologies and subjects through webinars and seminars.”
As part of the partnership, the Global Franchise works closely with recognized associations when covering their respective territories, sharing crucial intel and insight to ensure readers are clued up with up-to-date industry stats, regulatory updates, and more.
