The FASTSIGNS Success Story

Ever increasing demand for both printed and digital signage points to a strong future for FASTSIGNS franchises

Nothing announces a business faster than a sign. But a sign does more than identify a business: a great sign communicates a brand message instantly and ultimately drives sales. With effective signage required by absolutely every kind of business, the market for the range of visual communications offered by FASTSIGNS is limitless. FASTIGNS offers clients an attractive, solution-based service. Whether customers need to extend their messaging and graphic elements to vehicles, physical locations (walls, windows and floors) and marketing materials, educate and inform, or fulfil compliance regulations, FASTSIGNS has a solution. FASTSIGNS signage engages immediately, whether the media is printed or digital.

Decorative demands too can be quickly satisfied with custom wall murals, floor graphics, and backdrops, while point of purchase, QR codes and wearables are further examples of the extraordinary comprehensiveness of the FASTSIGNS offering. From business cards to banners, decals to trade show displays, it’s this spectrum of possibility which makes FASTISIGNS the go-to shop for businesses of all sizes and a solid proposition for a master franchisee. It may be no surprise then, to learn that FASTSIGNS has sales reaching more than $400m globally and is the franchisor of more than 600 FASTSIGNS sign, graphic and visual communications centers in nine countries.

The Digital Future

Complementing the static signage, FASTSIGNS digital options includes updatable digital displays, ideal for public spaces such as transportation terminals, retail stores, restaurants, healthcare facilities, corporate offices and a myriad of similar possibilities. With its increasing use across different industry verticals, studies expect the global digital signage market to surpass $20b by 2020, which is a $5b increase from 2015. Highest growth rates are expected to occur in the UK, Germany, Japan and South Korea. The rising worldwide needs for visual communications and digital sign technology has positioned FASTSIGNS for robust franchise expansion domestically and in key international markets.

Now more than ever, businesses look to FASTSIGNS for innovative ways to connect with customers in a highly competitive marketplace. Our high standards for quality and customer service have made FASTSIGNS the most recognized brand in the industry, driving significantly more traffic to the web than any other sign company.

With more than 600 locations around the world, FASTSIGNS International has developed a presence in nine countries including the United States (and Puerto Rico), Canada, England, Mexico, the Caribbean, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Australia (where centers operate as SIGNWAVE®). We have achieved this global growth with both direct franchising relationships and with master franchisors and area developers who have brought our brand promise to their countries, answering a rising worldwide need for visual communications and digital signage technology. Over the next five years, FASTSIGNS aims to open upwards of 50 centers annually, while engaging with 10 new international markets. Master franchisees are integral to this expansion.

FASTSIGNS master franchisees

Our master franchisees benefit from three weeks of brand and model training plus a week of master training in Dallas with our key management team. This is invaluable time for them in getting to know and embrace our brand and the people behind it. Once the master franchisee is up and running, it is even more important to keep the lines of communication open. For FASTSIGNS, it’s essential to include master franchisees in company conventions, annual meetings and other events. Making country visits and spending time understanding their unique challenges and opportunities is equally vital. Nurturing a strong master franchisee relationship is just as important as the initial selection process. A typical master franchisee for our company owns and operates one to two locations at the outset, and once they have a proven track record of operational success, they begin sub-franchising. An ideal master franchisee candidate will have experience in his or her industry and possesses proven management experience.
