UFG expands international presence with enhanced master license program

UFG’s Signarama Australia brand leader, Evan Foster, has been appointed global director to oversee its international expansion

United Franchise Group (UFG) is boosting its worldwide master license program, beginning with the appointment of a new global director, Evan Foster, and hosting an international summit in Barcelona, Spain, in November 2022.

The expanded master license program will be managed by Evan after he successfully led UFG’s Signarama brand in Australia for the last 12 years. He will work directly with master license partners around the world.

“I’m excited to begin deepening relationships with our international partners by helping them to strengthen their skills as franchisees,” he said. “I’ve seen their dedication and expertise, and I look forward to building an even more powerful program together.”

United Franchise Group is a family of affiliated brands from a variety of business-to-business and consumer industries, which benefit from UFG’s global network and almost four decades in the franchising industry. It currently has master license partners across its six franchise brands in over 60 countries worldwide, including New Zealand, Canada, Mexico, Malaysia, Singapore, India, South Africa, France, Spain, and the United Kingdom. The expanded program will focus on adapting the brand’s model to the unique business conditions in each country.

“Our international master license partners are experts in their local markets and their knowledge will be critical in helping us to grow our international footprint,” said Ray Titus, founder and CEO of United Franchise Group. “Under Evan’s leadership, we’re confident that the expanded program will take their franchise businesses to the next level.”

As part of the expansion, brand leaders will gather in November in Barcelona, Spain for the first Master Licensee Summit since 2018. With the theme ‘Master Your Future’, it will re-establish connections between master license partners and help them grow their networks. The summit will include presentations by the United Franchise Group executive team, master-led sessions, and a group excursion around Barcelona.
