The innovative, 21st Century education franchise, founded by James Cameron’s wife, Suze Amis Cameron, and her sister Rebecca Amis, begins its national takeover

The innovative, 21st Century education franchise, founded by James Cameron’s wife, Suzy Amis Cameron, and her sister Rebecca Amis, begins its national takeover.

A few months ago, MUSE Global announced it had secured its first franchisee in the U.S. John and Goly Casey were to be the operators of the school, which would open its doors to the next generation of learners in September 2020. The brand today announced the location of this first site, which will be the inaugural franchise in a long line that will eventually take MUSE internationally.

MUSE Global School Redwood City will be located at 1718 Broadway Street, which is one block from downtown RedWood City, California. Meet-and-greets with prospective parents are to take place in February 2020, with an official opening date of September 9.

John Casey, co-owner of the new school, said: “Our Bay Area community is yearning for an educational model that teaches children about our planet, and our increasingly urgent and essential role in protecting it.”

Co-owner and director, Goly Casey, added: “From my extensive experience running preschools, I know first-hand how crucial early childhood education is – and MUSE Global provides a framework that is precisely what the children of today, and leaders of tomorrow, require to be successful in this ever-evolving world we live in.”

We recently spoke with Jeff King, CEO of the brand, for an issue of Global Franchise magazine, and he detailed exactly what sets MUSE Global apart in the education space: “One of the most important things about our philisophy is that our students are learning to fall in love with learning. They like education. They want to learn because we have taken away some of the power struggles that cause students to not enjoy school.”

Rebecca Amis, president of MUSE Global and co-founder of the brand’s flagship school in Calabases, was highly enthusiastic about the upcoming franchise location. “Bringing the MUSE Global School model to the Bay Area was a dream come true for my sister, Suzy, and me, that quickly became a reality through a natural progression and clear alignment of values between ourselves and the Caseys,” she said. “We look forward to seeing the incredible stories that they will surely make within the community, and are grateful to have found these wonderful partners.”
