MFV Expositions, part of the Comexposium Group that produces the world’s leading events for the franchise community, has today announced the promotion of Sheila Fischer to senior vice president. She previously occupied the role of vice president of development at MFV, and was previously a sales leader for several years during the ongoing 27-year stint with the company.
“This is a tremendous honor, and I am looking forward to leading the professional team at MFV and working even closer with The International Franchise Association, who have been amazing partners for over 30 years!” said Fischer.
In 2019, Fischer was awarded the Global Sales Leader Award of Comexposium, MFV’s parent company. That award is given to one individual across Comexposium’s global business, demonstrating confidence in Fischer’s qualities as a leader.
“This promotion is a long time coming and so well deserved. Sheila has been such a big part of this company for so long and possesses all the institutional knowledge and passion to take the company to new heights,” said Tom Portesy who served as president and CEO of MFV for over 25 years.
