Tampa-based better burger concept Burger 21 is to expand into New Mexico, with an Alburquerque location in the Winrock Town Center opening in October 2017.
The owner of the new 2,500 square feet establishment (which has another 800 square feet of outdoor patio space) is Chris Zalesiak. This brings Burger 21’s total of outlets to 22. The company has 15 further stores in development across 11 states.

Mark Johnston, co-founder and president of Burger 21 said, “We’re excited to be in Albuquerque and look forward to sharing our better burger experience and diverse menu with new guests. Burger lovers in Albuquerque will soon have 21 different burgers to choose from as we continue to grow across the U.S. and raise the bar for our industry so that everyone can find their favorites.”
