British Swim School opens in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania

The learn-to-swim franchise brand has opened its newest location in Pennsylvania

British Swim School has announced the opening of its newest location in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, which marks its fourth franchise in the state.

“We’re excited to have Kim Lessig and Bob Kane join the British Swim School family,” said Ashley Gundlach, British Swim School President.

“We believe in our mission-driven concept to teach children water survival skills and help reduce the number of accidental drownings, and we love when new franchise owners come on board who are just as passionate and enthusiastic as we are. We can’t wait for Kim and Bob to make a splash in PA!”

Kim Lessig and Bob Kane are the owners of the new location, and grew up in the area themselves. The franchisee duo plan to conduct classes at the pools located inside the LA Fitness in Pottstown and the Staybridge Suites Hotel in Royersford. With three children between them, Lessig and Kane keenly understand the importance of bringing quality swim lessons to all age groups.

“There is an unmet demand in this area. We know this from our own experience when trying to sign our children up for swim lessons,” said Lessig.

“I’m thrilled that through this business, we will fill this void in such a meaningful way for our community.

“As a parent myself, I know that heart-stopping fear of being around water with a child who doesn’t know how to swim. I am beyond grateful to be able to give parents and caregivers some peace of mind through survival-based swim lessons.”
