Twin Peaks forges ahead with Mexican expansion

The sports bar lodge franchise is committing to 32 additional locations in Mexico

FAT Brands, the owner of the Twin Peaks brand, has announced the signing of a 24-store franchise development agreement with Operadora 2 Montes. The locations are planned to be situated across the entirety of Mexico.

The operator, Operadora 2 Montes, will begin the development of the Mexico City location and surrounding areas, making use of locations that were in development prior to the signing of this deal. The two pre-date locations are expected to open in January and May 2022. This deal will bring the total number of Twin Peaks lodges in Mexico to 32.

“Twin Peaks is taking over Mexico,” said Joe Hummel, CEO of Twin Peaks.

“We’ve sold out our franchising opportunities in the entire country and we couldn’t be happier to bring the passionate fans of Mexico a one-of-a-kind sports watching experience. This agreement is one of the larger deals we have executed. It’s an exciting time for our brand.”

“We’re excited to introduce the Twin Peaks experience to sports fans across the country,” said Rodolfo Garcia, president of Operadora 2 Montes

“After seeing the success of the current locations in Mexico, we knew the rest of the country was ready for Twin Peaks’ ‘Lodge Mantality.’ Throughout Mexico, guests will be blown away by the fun atmosphere and quality food and drinks that Twin Peaks provides and we can’t wait to get the ball rolling on this 10-year plan.”

Twin Peaks has signed deals in Philadelphia and Las Vegas after being acquired by FAT Brands in September 2021.
