Continuing its recent partnerships with the likes of the International Franchise Association and the Croatian Franchise Association (FIP), Global Franchise is expanding its content partnership network.

Global Franchise is very excited to announce the latest expansion to its growing content partnership network, with the news that the Hungarian Franchise Association (HFA) will be joining several other industry-leading organizations in sharing knowledge, research, and best practice.

“We’re extremely excited for the Hungarian Franchise Association join us as part of our ever-growing network of international franchise associations,” explained James Fell, editor of Global Franchise. “We have dedicated a lot of coverage in our publication to the exciting franchise brands emerging from Hungary and we look forward to covering them in more detail, showcasing their potential to our worldwide audience of franchisors, master franchisees and high-net-worth investors. We also relish the opportunity to work closely with the HFA – the leading authority for all things franchising in Hungary – to further shine a light on the opportunities that this region has to offer for incoming international brands.”

Founded in 1991 as an advocacy organization for the franchise business community in Hungary, the Hungarian Franchise Association has grown to the country’s leading franchise authority. It’s membership of franchisors now represent more than 7,000 franchisees, and the total number of employees involved through its members exceed 100,000.

Hungary as a country has a rich history with franchising, and according to a recent survey by the Association, 300 franchise networks operate in Hungary providing permanent jobs for 200,000 people.

“Hungary is one of the leading economies in the Central European region, despite of the COVID pandemic the market offers several great opportunities for foreign brands,” said Dr. Katalin Mandel, CEO of the Hungarian Franchise Association. “I think cooperating with Global Franchise magazine would grant the Franchise Association a great opportunity and enable us to introduce Hungary to franchise systems from all around the world. We provide support for concepts, who would like to expand in our region.”
