College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving Miami commits $1m to names, image and likeness deals

The brand recently signed a franchise agreement with former football and NCAA player Ahmmon Richards and wants to do more

College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving has announced that it will invest $1m into further securing names, image and likeness (NIL) deals with prominent student athletes across Miami, and potentially Florida. This move comes after the recent legal battle fought by collegiate athletes to allow them to financially benefit from their own hard work, something that had been denied until 2021.

For Richards, who is the owner of a College Hunks franchise with his father, it’s the brand awareness and star power he brings to the brand that is fueling growth and the brand’s desire to sign even more student athletes.

Richard has been a key supporter of the brand, and has seen his franchise team grow in both size and confidence, as well as his own profile. As a result, he is convinced in the opportunity the brand provides and wants others like him to take advantage of what is on offer.

“The timing of the NIL era has coincided perfectly with the establishment of our base of operations here in Miami,” said Richards.

“It’s functioned as an incredibly effective method of building out our staff and developing strengthened community ties with the families and individuals who can benefit from our services most.”

The central reason behind the desire to sign more student athletes is to expand the brand’s footprint and reputation in the Miami area. Utilizing highly successful sportspeople and athletes has proven to be a winning strategy.

“Our target clients are residential homeowners, property managers and real estate agents,” said Omar Soliman, co-founder of College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving.

“Those clients tend to have a strong affinity towards supporting students-athletes, making NIL the perfect platform to promote our brand and services to the local community.”
