Wetzels Pretzels will open its first China-based location in mid-2018. Following the company’s debut in Shanghai, locations will in due course be established in Beijing and South China. Master franchisee for the expansion is of Golden Wheel Investment & Management, and its China branch, Bakery (Shanghai) Restaurant Management Co. Ltd. 50 outlets are planned to open in the country by by 2021.
