The Titus Center and American Global Consulting (AGC) have signed an agreement to provide franchise education in the Middle East. AGC is a Bahrain-based firm that prioritizes education and connects students in the Gulf with academic programming.

The training comprises four, two-day professional education seminars covering such topics as the A to Zs of Buying a Franchise, Franchising a Business, Master Franchising and Franchise Training and Support. Students who complete the seminars earn Certified Franchise Executive education credits offered through the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives.

The agreement between the Titus Center and AGC will give entrepreneurs, professionals and scholars the opportunity to obtain a high-quality franchise education without traveling thousands of miles, said Dr. Alsadig Khalafalla, AGC’s president.

He said: “Their study will surely enable them to excel in their professional careers and open doors for them to work in leading franchise companies that achieve substantial profits.”

The Titus Center’s seminars are geared toward business professionals working in the Gulf Cooperation Council, which includes Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.

Hayes said: “People in the Middle East are eager to learn more about how to use franchising to acquire their own businesses, as well as how to expand their existing businesses.

“There are already many American franchises expanding in the Middle East — the Titus Center’s courses will help bring many more executives into franchising and give them the opportunity to build their personal wealth.”

The Titus Center in the Marshall E. Rinker Sr. School of Business is one of the few places in the world where students can prepare for a career in franchising. The program was endowed with a $1.5 million contribution by Ray Titus, founder and CEO of United Franchise Group.

Palm Beach Atlantic University is a private, independent university offering undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees in West Palm Beach, Orlando and online. The University is dedicated to the integration of Christian principles to prepare students for learning, leadership and service.
