The Franchising Centre announces new leadership team

The organization’s new team will continue its quarter-century legacy

The organization’s new team will continue its quarter-century legacy.

Since its founding 25 years ago, The Franchising Centre (TFC) has been run under the ownership of Brian Duckett and Paul Monaghan. Now, with Brian’s retirement from the organization earlier this year, Paul has announced that Dugan Aylen, Farrah Rose, Alan Wilkinson, and Steve Felmingham will join him as owners of the business and its long-term success.

“I’m so proud of TFC’s reputation as Brian takes a well-earned break with his racehorses – it’s amazing to see where we’ve come in a quarter of a century!” said Paul Monaghan. “Our new management team is dynamic with a wealth of ideas and experience. TFC’s work with businesses and people looking to enter franchising has been life-changing for many of our clients over the years. I’m excited to see where this next phase takes us.”

Dugan Aylen is well known for his expertise in franchise recruitment and has headed up this centre at TFC for the past seven years. In his new role, he will also be driving the business forward, looking at new clients and services for the group, as well as leading the marketing team.

Farrah Rose has over three decades of international franchise consultancy experience, winning the contribution to international franchising accolade at The Global Franchise Awards, hosted at the IFA Convention 2020 in Florida. She will drive the international expansion of TFC through her 73 international franchise associates covering 103 countries.

Alan Wilkinson has 25 years’ experience of developing franchise businesses in the U.K., having helped over 125 brands to launch their franchise concepts. He continues as head of franchise development, working with U.K. brands wishing to expand through franchising.

The new ownership team is further strengthened by Steve Felmingham who originally joined TFC in 2006 and has over two decades of experience as a franchisee, franchisor and international master franchisee which he brings to bear as a franchise consultant working with dozens of brands both in the U.K. and overseas.

TFC’s overall team of 20 has a combined 350 years’ experience in business and franchising, and they are always ready to recruit more fresh talent; they have recently welcomed Steve Eastaugh, from Premier Sport, and experienced franchise consultant Krishma Vaghela.
