The Dog Stop, which is rapidly expanding across the U.S., has signed multiple franchise deals in the third quarter of 2022 that will bring more than 20 locations to more American cities, many of which are in new markets. This development in the brand’s national expansion will continue to address the increasing demand for top-quality pet care within an industry which is predicted to more than double, exceeding $250bn by 2030.
As of August, The Dog Stop has awarded 36 franchise licenses to 16 new franchisees in 14 states. By the end of next year, the brand will enter six new markets including Michigan, Colorado, Kentucky, New Jersey, New York, and Washington. 20 of these new stores are expected to open within the next nine months and 35 will be open by the end of 2023. To help catapult its expansion efforts, The Dog Stop also has area representative deals in the works for large 25-plus store territories.
“We are excited to expand into so many new markets across the U.S.,” said Jesse Coslov, CEO and co-founder of The Dog Stop. “Our area representative agreement will help us reach new heights and introduce our unique concept to even more dog owners nationwide. Having the support from others who are as passionate about growing our brand as much as we are means the world to us and we can’t wait to continue adding to The Dog Stop family.”
As the demand for pet care continues to grow, more people are looking for a facility like The Dog Stop that goes above and beyond by being transparent with customers and providing all the services dogs need to thrive physically and mentally under one roof.
“We’re so proud of the fact that our brand has been so well-received by dog owners nationwide,” said Jesse. “As more people become interested in their dogs’ overall wellness, concepts like The Dog Stop that truly understand what that entails are taking off. We’re eager to continue this momentum by opening in new markets and helping to navigate more pet parenthood journeys.”
