On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina has announced an expansion in its hometown of Cedar Hill, Dallas Fort Worth in the first time for five years. Located in the newly developed Plaza at Cedar Hill at 350 East FM1382, the new On The Border location will open in spring 2022. This location will mark the brand’s 27th in the metroplex and 137th worldwide.
“We’re excited about the Plaza at Cedar Hill because of its incredible shopping combined with a wide variety of diverse and relaxed dining options,” says Mike Wood, chief real estate officer at On The Border.
“The growing family-friendly community also boasts 3,000 acres of parks and green space that attracts sports enthusiasts and nature lovers from all across the region.”
The new prototype will feature a smaller footprint, which will add efficiency and result in a quicker service for the customers. Alongside the OTB to-go station that will streamline delivery and pickup, a new décor package will feature traditional Mexican colors and artwork to amplify the brand’s heritage and atmosphere.
