Established in 1988 with more than 300 franchisees worldwide, Stagecoach Performing Arts proudly operates 2,000 schools across eight countries, changing the lives of 50,000 children every week.

Stagecoach believes that every child can be nurtured to grow, develop and grab hold of life in all its glory. For over 30 years, Stagecoach has stayed true to the belief that performing arts is a unique way to unlock children’s potential.

Every week, franchisees around the world manage performing arts schools, with their teams of experts teaching children and teenagers how to sing, dance and act. This sets students up with the necessary skills to perform – not only on stage but, more importantly, to accomplish great things in every stage of their lives. Stagecoach aims to inspire its students, making a difference in their lives by teaching creative courage for life.

The brand continues to establish itself as the children’s services franchise of choice for prospective entrepreneurs, and the performing arts provider of choice for children and parents.

Being a part of its network of passionate, creative and inspiring franchisees, owners will have the opportunity to grow their business to achieve their own aspirations; supported by an experienced and enthusiastic team.

Passion for making a difference and child enrichment

With over three decades of experience, the children’s performing arts brand has seen more than one million students unlock their potential, which is something they will value for their whole life.

“A key component of running a successful children’s services franchise is a passion for child enrichment and making a difference in the community. Even if you come with no on-the-job experience of working with children, you must be invested in their development and equipping them with the confidence needed to perform in life,” said Andy Knights, joint CEO of Stagecoach Performing Arts.

Brand recognition

Stagecoach is the U.K.’s largest network of extra-curricular performing arts schools for children, with more than 2,000 schools worldwide. In the U.K., Stagecoach is the preferred choice in part-time performing arts for children.*

“At Stagecoach, we live by our motto ‘Creative Courage for Life’. We feel this truly encompasses our commitment to our students. Our franchisees live and breathe this concept which has a knock-on effect on our network of teachers and assistants,” said Knights.

Franchisee Matthew Wing has said, “Stagecoach is one of the most internationally recognized performing arts schools in the world. Their brand position has placed me well in the local community – my schools are known as the best in the area, which has really contributed to the growth of my franchise”

Training and support

The brand provides franchisees with ongoing training along with industry-leading support in marketing, customer service, I.T. and business development. Its tried-and tested structure enables franchisees to play to their strengths and provides the best possible environment in which to succeed.

“As long as you bring passion and commitment to your business, anything you have less experience in, or knowledge of can be taught. We utilize the skill of our franchisees whilst we fill in any gaps in their knowledge through our comprehensive training program. It’s a mutually beneficial partnership,” said Knights.

Trust in the service

It’s imperative that parents feel the service and team are credible and trustworthy. Stagecoach is committed to child development and establishing a well-respected and reputable service. Furthermore, it adheres to the strictest child safety policies. 98 per cent of its U.K. customers would recommend Stagecoach.*

With more parents than ever looking to invest in their child’s future and overall happiness, the present looks to be a high time to invest in a Stagecoach franchise. To find out more about its franchise opportunities in your country, get in touch!

Why Stagecoach

• Trusted heritage – over 30 years experience in performing arts education for children

• Part of something big – around the globe, over one million students have discovered Stagecoach, and the brand is still growing

• An internationally recognized brand

• Proven success – the flexible model allows franchisees to run their own business alongside other commitments

• Wealth creation – the opportunity to grow a business into a valuable asset with high resale values

• Low start-up costs – a new territory costs from just £14,995 plus VAT

• Comprehensive training and unparalleled support – providing franchisees with the tools and skills to grow their business from the start.

Stagecoach Performing Arts promises to give the creative courage to franchisees to embrace the brand and make the most of the business opportunity. As a leading body in the performing arts industry, Stagecoach provides franchisees with the tools to help nurture and inspire every student who walks through its doors.

Investment and returns

Many of its franchisees opt to bring in managers to operate schools within their territory. This enables these franchisees to invest earnings back into their business by expanding existing schools and investing in new territories. Starting as a franchisee means working Saturdays to oversee the teachers and classes. The rest of the franchisees’ work is based from home, allowing for flexibility around family and other commitments.

Once franchisees have 200-plus students in their territory and are earning an average of £70,000 per year, they can look to expand further with additional territories, opening more schools and utilizing managers, allowing franchisees to take on more of a director-level role. With multiple territories established, franchisees could be earning £150,000-plus per year and have the security of an asset of considerable value to sell in the future.
