PayMore signs multi-unit deal to expand into Midwest

The fast-growing electronics retailer expects to open multiple units in Wisconsin

PayMore, the electronics retailer, has announced the signing of a multi-unit franchise deal to expand into Wisconsin. This deal follows agreements signed in Philadelphia and Austin. The brand has signed with Tim VenHause, a seasoned multi-unit operator of uBreakiFix.

“Because of PayMore’s very strong unit economics, low start-up costs and strong franchisee support, we’re seeing incredible interest in the brand from seasoned multi-unit operators and other franchisees wanting to diversify their portfolio,” said Dan Rowe, CEO of Fransmart.

“PayMore’s expansion into Wisconsin is the first of many deals planned in the Midwest and West as this trustworthy East Coast brand continues to bring this much-needed concept nationwide.”

VanHause’s experience as a uBreakiFix franchisee has given him the tools and skills necessary to successfully operate in the retail and technology space. He saw that customers wanted an efficient and sustainable retail service for their electric goods, where they could recycle old devices and purchased used ones. VanHause wants to open multiple PayMore locations in Milwaukee, with the first expected location to be situated in West Alis.

“When I worked with uBreakiFix, I played a large part in growing the concept to over 700 locations across the nation. This is the kind of growth trajectory I see taking place for PayMore,” said VenHaus.

“I’m excited to take on PayMore’s fast-growing concept as it continues to redefine the pre-owned electronics marketplace. I look forward to having a key role in the standout brand’s Wisconsin expansion.”

“Tim is the perfect franchisee to be planting PayMore’s roots in the Midwest,” said Erik Helgesen, president of PayMore.

“I am confident that his experience in franchising technology concepts will be a great asset in growing the demand for our advanced proprietary technology in a new area and maintaining PayMore’s presence ahead of the industry curve.”
