Since its founding in 1993, WIN Home Inspection has consistently worked to elevate the standards in the home inspection industry, improving the consistency of the inspection as well as deliverables homeowners receive once the inspection is completed. Because of the reliability and quality of the home inspections and how the reports are presented to buyers and sellers, WIN Home Inspection franchisees are considered an integral part of real estate agents’ closing team.

WIN Home Inspection specializes in pre-listing inspections designed to help sellers gain realistic expectations prior to the sale of the home as well as inspections for prospective buyers during the sales process. Some clients also conduct milestone or anniversary inspections to check on the “health” of their home years after purchasing. Regardless of what type of inspection someone needs, clients receive a detailed report within 24 hours and can be referenced as a to-do list.

WIN Home Inspection was founded by Dianne and Tom Knapp who had extensive experience in the construction and real estate fields. As owners of a real estate company, they noticed stark inconsistencies and irregularities in the quality and breadth of home inspections being performed for real estate clients and were inspired to deliver a more comprehensive, consistent solution. Through an engineered process, they developed service value consistency in the performance of home inspections that provides customers a high degree of uniform quality.

Franchise opportunities

Shortly after founding the concept, the Knapps began offering Strategic-Partner franchise opportunities across the United States. Thanks to the comprehensive WIN training system, franchisees with experience ranging from business management to home services to military have been able to successfully own and operate WIN businesses.
